IN ADDITION to representing artist’s careers and scheduling their gigs, SPARK is a full-service management service in that we help artists really build their brand and brand recognition among their fans and potential fans so that their name becomes as well known as their sound.
Check out the list of other services we provide alongside representation to help our artists put their best foot forward in front of contractors and fans.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of the services below, feel free to reach out to me below, and I will be happy to reply.
How you put your name and image out there is just as important as doing it. Every extension of your brand is as vital to its health, so making sure those extensions are displayed in the best quality and most professional manner are the surest way to put your best foot forward. We will create Brand Standards, which will be shared with all signed contracts, to ensure brand consistency is upheld.
While there is some importance as to where you choose to broadcast your brand, it isn't as important as the consistency of how you broadcast yourself. We will ensure that your online presence across all social media is consistent, both in appearance and in searchability, so that potential contractors can easily locate your profile(s) and verify that it is definitely you due to its consistency with other profiles.
In addition, you will be given your own landing page on our website, which will highlight your bio, headshots, sound samples, latest news about you from our blog, social media links, as well as a 1-click button for interested contractors to use to book you.
To ensure brand standards are being adhered to, each contract will request that all flyers and collateral that are put out by promoters are approved by our team beforehand.
As a fanatic and frequent attendee of electronic music events from all around the world, I can guide you on where I think you could expand your sound, challenging you to infuse your style into a subgenre you may not traditionally play to create sets that surprise your audiences. This goes a step beyond brand management into brand development.
There have been a few times I've looked at a festival lineup and have wondered both why the promoter booked a specific deejay or why the deejay accepted a gig for an event that didn't exactly align with their sound. As your manager, I am very invested in making sure you are choosing the correct gigs that enhance your career instead of ones that may harm it. Choosing the wrong gig can cost you more money in lost gigs because of bad publicity than not taking the gig itself. We'll work closely together with each other and with the contractors to make sure what they're expecting is in your brand and sound wheelhouse, but also to ensure that they truly know your brand and sound and are not just booking you on your look or your name.
As your manager, I am also very invested in making sure everything you put out there is not only spot on for sound quality and track choices that build amazing journeys for your fans/audience, but also that it is consistent with your brand and sound.
Part of the perks of management with Spark Talent Management is free access to a professional graphic designer. I've created or refreshed logos for about 70% of my own roster, as well as created or refreshed logos for several other deejays in the industry. Even if you have a logo already, we can work on refreshing your logo files so that we're sending out the highest quality images possible to anyone contracting you.
I am a firm believer that deejays should be putting out new sets at least once a quarter, but hopefully more, and I am here to help that happen much more seamlessly by offering to create all of your set covers for you so that you can focus on the music making aspect.
If you produce, I will gladly create all of your track covers as well.
1) SOCIAL MEDIA: True to my word, I am here to help you broadcast your brand consistently, so that means cover photos or other collateral for Facebook, SoundCloud, Instagram, Twitch, etc.
2) FLYERS: Not all promoters will take advantage of it, but I offer free event flyers to anyone contracting any of my deejays — I already have the collateral for the DJ, so it only makes sense.
3) VISUALS: I can create a looped set of visuals for any of my deejays to use during their events, tailored to their specifications and personalizations.
There are many who underestimate the power of a well-made promotional item such as a t-shirt or tank top, hoodie or hat, a cinch bag or even a fan — these items can not only help broadcast your brand further to places your brand may not normally go, but it also can help you generate income to supplement your gigs.
As part of my branding+graphics firm, FORGE, I will work with my partnerships within the ASI industry (which allows me to access millions of products that can be imprinted with your logo/branding) to develop your own collection of promo items for your fans to purchase and wear/display proudly.
And don't forget — it's extra money in your pocket!
